Bayport celebrates its 15th year anniversary showcasing its trustworthiness, sustainability and reliability. This translates to 15 years of needs met, opportunities created, plans accomplished, hopes realised and dreams fulfilled.
We believe in an empowered workforce, providing opportunities for employees to develop, grow and have a meaningful impact at Bayport, in their families and community at large. Bayport is proud to have achieved the following over the past 15 years.
Loretta Mathimba has been a loyal Bayport customer for the past six years. The loans she has taken out have paid for university fees, an extension to her house and a loved one’s funeral.
“Over the years I have referred many friends and family members to Bayport because of the kind assistance I have always enjoyed.”
Analine Kruger, a 50 year old bank employee, took out her first Bayport loan in February 2018 to turn her business dream into reality.
“I have wanted to start a business for a long time in order to secure my financial future,” says Analine. But she struggled to raise the necessary capital as bank after bank turned down her loan application.
Two years after Bhuka Dlomo had taken out a loan with Bayport, his health took a turn for the worst, eventually forcing him to stop working. He still had another 12 months to pay on his loan and did not know how he was going to meet his obligations.
“It was the best news I’d heard in a long time. I just want to say thank you to Bayport.”
Bhuti Nkuni, a father of three, had been working at the same company for seven years when he took out a Bayport loan in March 2017 to do some repairs at his home.
“A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I now have one less thing to worry about. Thank you, Bayport, for all you have done.”
When Ernest Lesako took out his Bayport loan, little did he know that a few months down the line the company he was working for would go through financial difficulty and implement short-time. He went from working a six-day week, to a three-day week, and his wages were cut in half.
“I was worried about how I would meet my financial obligations, including my Bayport repayments,” says Ernest.
Sales rep Joe Whitehorn needed a vehicle to do his job. He just could not rely on public transport to get him where he needed to be without wasting precious hours.
‘’Today I can get wherever I need to be,” says Joe. “Nonhlanhla’s exceptional service made the application process easy. I walked into that dealership with a smile on my face, knowing that I will be coming out with my dream car. I really appreciate the trouble the Bayport went through for me.”
